Lesson 3 Part 1 Challenge

A SAC art student came into the library to do research for her American Art History class. The assignment was to write a 5-page paper on Sports in Art.  While researching George Bellows in the database Art Source, she became interested in his boxing paintings. To find information on Jack Dempsey and some of the other boxers in the paintings, she used Biography in Context. In addition, the student used Opposing Viewpoints to include a short section on the way boxing was perceived in early 20th century America.
